JLS: The name JLS is an abbreviation of 'Jack the Lad Swing' all is band name for Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan 'JB' Gill and Ortise Williams.
Having been runner up to Alexandra Burke on series 5 of the 'X Factor', JLS quickly secured record deals and are estimated to have sold over 1.3 million albums worldwide.
Their first two singles topped the charts and the BRITS 2010 awarded the band Best Single and Best Breakthrough Act.
They have released 2 albums to date, 2009 'JLS and 2010 'Outta Here'.
