Katie Melua: Born in the war torn country of Georgia, Katie Melua moved with her family first to Northern Ireland, then England in search of a life more stable and secure.
She made her debut as a singer-songwriter in 2003 and her first album 'Call off the Search' reached the number 1 spot with 1.8 million copies sold in the first five months.
Her second album, 'Pictures' was released in 2007 and her latest 'The House' in 2010.
Melua is a self-confessed 'adrenaline junkie' in her spare time!
