Kiss: Famous for their 'black and white' lycra stage costumes, their caricature face-paint and their heavy/glam metal sound, American rock band 'KISS' have been on the music scene since the early 1970s.

Originating from New York City, band members are Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

Their live shows have included stunts like flame blowing, levitating drum kits, shooting guitars and pyrotechnics.

They continue to entertain audiences with live shows today with their 2009 album release, 'Sonic Boom'.

Kiss: Kiss perform live gig at Liverpool Echo Arena in Liverpool, Merseyside on the 04 May 10.
