A bittersweet, dark political comedy based on one man’s true story, and his epic odyssey in search for an identity. Written by award-winning Hassan Abdulrazzak, And Here I Am is based on actor Ahmed’s Tobasi’s own coming of age story.
It combines fact and fantasy, tragedy and comedy, as we follow the protagonist through a transformation from armed resistance fighter to artist and refugee, spanning both the first and second Palestinian intifadas.
