After his sister dies, Selim Mourad becomes his parent’s only child, but is burdened with the knowledge that, because of his sexuality, he is the last male to carry his family name. At the same time his family home is crumbling and his mother and father yearn to sell up and move to a new apartment. A fresh, original and disarmingly honest look at the hold of patriarchy in contemporary Lebanese society. The director will take part in a Q&A following the screening.
