Our fantastic collections include archaeology, ethnology and the natural and physical sciences. Whether you want to hold a mammoth´s tooth, watch a shuttle launch or marvel at the Egyptian mummies, the museum makes a great day out for the whole family.
Opening on 29 April 2005, the World Cultures Gallery will take you on a journey around the globe. Drawing on our huge ethnographic collections, the gallery will introduce you to the peoples of the world. Their traditions, beliefs and religions will be explained through the objects and artefacts they created.
Liverpool Museum is one of Britain´s finest multi-disciplinary museums and holds over one million specimens and artefacts covering archaeology, ethnology and the natural and physical sciences.
