Charlie and Craig Reid better known as The Proclaimers have put together an impressive body of work since their foundation in 1983. Their rise began with supporting the Housemartins in 1986, later they rose to national acclaim in Scotland and reached a worldwide fan-base with songs like "I'm gonna be" and "Letter from America". The Scots Brothers (now 50) released their debut album "This is the Story" in 1987 and it promptly went gold. The second offering from the twins "I'm on my way" was an even bigger success. The Proclaimers style is unique, if you are listening to a song that sounds like the proclaimers, it almost certainly is. Your toe will almost certainly be tapping while you do. The Band have worked with more than their share of musicians and have recently collaborated with several comedy greats including, Peter Kay and Frank Sidebottom. Still as hard-working and dedicated as ever the lads have released seven studio albums since their first two hit albums. Their 2012 release "Like Comedy" is available now.
