North West class act Merry Hell return to The Citadel for their legendary “Merry Helloween” show.
The band will be playing old favourites as well as new tracks from their new album “The Ghost In Our House & Other Stories”The 15 songs of the new album range widely both musically and lyrically, from the anthemic to the intimate, the political and the personal – irresistibly infectious sing-a-long choruses rub shoulders with ballads of beauty and grace. Universal themes of love, loss, hope and regret are expressed alongside explorations of everyday life in the twenty-first century.
Merry Hell are an 8 piece band formed in 2011 from the ashes of 90’s folk/punk group The Tansads and featuring 5 original members. Since signing a record deal with Mrs Casey Records, the band have gone from strength to strength releasing two previous albums and an EP. The band now tour annually and have supported the likes of Bellowhead and Richard Thompson.
This show will almost certainly sell out so don’t miss an incredible evening of musical entertainment and ensure you book early.
