CBeebies’ Dommy B, returns with this fun, family show with exciting adventure and live music suitable for anyone aged 5+.
Doors Open at 2:00pm On Stage at 2:30pmJamie has one job: look after the sheep.
If the wolf sneaks out from the forest he must shout and scream WOLF! so that everyone from the village can come and chase the wolf away.
Watching sheep is boring. Waiting for a wolf that never comes is boring. Very boring.
A wolf running out of the forest with his tongue lolling and his teeth sharp as knives would be so very, very exciting.
Wouldn’t it?
'The Boy Who Cried Wolf', adapted from Aesop's fable, is Dommy B's fifth nationally touring show for children and families. It follows last year's hugely successful 'When Trolls Try to Eat Their Goldfish' (co-produced by Action Transport Theatre).
This hilarious new play, made in collaboration with Z Arts and Big Imaginations, features live music, and is directed by the award-winning Kevin Dyer. Kevin's plays include 'Baghdad Zoo' (York Theatre Royal), 'The Bridge' (Dundee Rep) and 'Giving It Back' (BBC Radio 4). He also wrote 'The Monster Under The Bed' for Polka Theatre, which won the Writers' Guild 'Best Children's Play' Award.
“Really very inspiring. I love the seriousness and the humour.”- Benjamin Zephaniah
“Dominic is an exceptional force in the poetry and spoken word scene.” -John McGrath Artistic Director, National Theatre Wales
“From the moment he started to speak we were totally captivated - the incredible way he uses words, the expression and energy of the delivery and the subject matter made him irresistible.”-City Life Magazine
