Entertainment - Under cover is the stage and entertainment area. Live music featuring bands, choirs and groups will perform throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Santa’s Grotto - (Open Saturday 10.30am - 5.00pm and Sunday 09.30am - 4.00pm)
The Santa Grotto last year was one of the star attractions and was fully booked by Saturday morning. This year to keep him company Santa will have his real reindeer with him next door.
Saturday 3rd December Schedule:
Santa Parade along Stockbridge (starts at 9.30am) - Santa will be pulled by his reindeer in his magnificent sleigh with his elves keeping him company with a pipe band leading the parade.
Edinburgh Christmas Walk - 10K (Start 1.00pm) Our walk will take you through the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh and the Water of Leith finishing in Inverleith Park via Stockbridge.
The Golden Tinsel Mile Walks (Start 1.30pm)
If you have limitations then the Golden Tinsel Mile Walks are for you. Suitable for elderly/disabled - Walk, Stroll 1, 2, or 3 miles you choose the distance!
Sunday 4th December Schedule:
Edinburgh Christmas Runs (5k starts 09.30am) / (10k starts 10.30am). The Great Scottish Christmas 5K & 10K Runs are open to all. They are a UK athletics "chip timed" permitted event. Special prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male & female runners in each category. All finishers receive a fabulous bespoke medal and goody bag.
Santa Parade and Toddle (Santa arrives 1.30pm) - Santa will arrive in Inverleith Park riding in his magnificent sleigh and being pulled along by his favourite reindeer with The George Watsons Pipes & Drums playing in front. After the parade all toddlers will receive a Santa Toddle Medal, certificate and goody bag.
