Digital Revolutions Film Workshop: BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in conjunction with Sheffield Doc/Fest (the biggest documentary film festival in Britain) are running a film competition called Digital Revolutions (http://sheffdocfest.com/view/digitalrevolutions) in which theyre encouraging amateur and professional film makers to make films about how digital technology has changed their lives for a cash prize of up to 10,000. They are also running free film workshops in Cardiff, London, Sheffield and Edinburgh that will teach film makers new skills and help them develop their ideas for the contest (the London one is already fully booked but the others still have spaces) .
