Dean Powell tells us about the eccentric radical doctor, Dr William Price, who practised widely in South Wales and Monmouthshire.
He was a brilliant scholar, exemplary surgeon, political activist and was instrumental in creating an embryonic social health care system that may have been a pre-cursor to the NHS.
Sadly, he is better known for the fact that he cremated the body of his infant son, Iesu Grist.
