North Norfolk Coast Earth Day: Sustainability Exhibition | The Environment, Countryside and Renewable Technologies

We'd like to invite you to the North Norfolk Coast Earth Day 2012 on Thursday 19th April at Deepdale Backpackers & Camping.

You are welcome to attend as a visitor (FREE) or as an exhibitor (£40)

The idea of the day is to give businesses and individuals the chance to learn more about sustainability, be that conservation, energy efficiency, eco-friendly building materials or renewable technologies.

Deepdale hosts the North Norfolk Coast Earth Day every two years, as part of the international Earth Day events. The event attracts hundreds of visitors and over 40 stands.

Deepdale Backpackers & Camping is an eco-friendly backpackers hostel & campsite and have been awarded Gold by the Green Tourism Business Scheme and the David Bellamy Awards. They offer private ensuite rooms, dorm beds, tipis, yurts, group accommodation and camping for tents & campervans.

The event is held both outdoors and in the barns for Deepdale Farm. A full list of exhibitors will be published nearer the event, along with the talk programme and other activities.

The most sustainable way to reach Burnham Deepdale for this event is by the Coasthopper Bus Service (www.coasthopper.co.uk) or by bike. Naturally visitors using other forms of transport are welcome and there will be free parking available.
