Emeli Sande: Emeli Sande is a young British singer and songwriter who specialises in her own intoxicating fusion of soul, trip-hop and R&B.
Despite being a relative newcomer to the music scene, she won the critics award at the 2012 Brits and was nominated as best newcomer for the 2011 Moby awards. Emeli Sande's first solo single, Heaven, showcases her powerful yet haunting voice.
She has also featured on a number of hits, most notably Chipmunk's Top Ten hit, Diamond Rings, and Professor Green's Number One hit, Read All About It.
As well as performing, Emeli is also a successful songwriter and she's penned songs for singers as diverse as Susan Boyle and Tinie Tempah. She's just announced a tour to coincide with her debut album, Our Version Of Events, which comes out on 13 February.
The tour kicks off on 4 April at the UEA in Norwich and winds up at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 16 April.
