The London based Le Dame Art Gallery will exhibit at Art Fair East, taking its main represented artists’ works to Norwich
This will be a chance to reach new audiences and we are excited to present a programme of International artists.Le Dame Art Gallery will display “Natural Beauty”, a nature-inspired series of artworks by 5 different artists.
Cristina Benito, curator of the show says, “We wanted to join the celebration of the 140th anniversary of the publication of Black Beauty in Norwich. In Black Beauty, the story is narrated by the horse. It is such a beautiful metaphor for the kindness and understanding treatment of animals. “Natural Beauty” is not only a title, it actually exists in nature. Through the artworks, we aim to give Nature a voice and invite visitors to experience the theme in different perspectives.”
The show will investigate four different ways of perceiving Nature, hype- realism, experimental, pop and abstract through the artworks of:
Gabriela Herma, a Polish Fine Art Photographer based in London. Herma’s work is inspired by her surroundings and led by her initial emotional response. Herma prints her photographs on metal before covering the surface in resin and sparkling materials such as Swarovski crystals and diamond dust. Alice Padovani was born in Italy where she lives and works today. She graduated from the University of Bologna with a Master’s Degree in Philosophy in 2007 and a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts in 2015. We will present her latest work “Collection of a Magpie”, where scarab beetles and little tiny objects are assembled together to create precious nests made in gold, or emerald or simply black and white. The outcome is just exquisite, a must-have collection. Italian artist Mauro Molle, graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, where he began his first painting experiences and experiments with etching until 2001 when he graduated in Artistic Anatomy evolution and deformation of the human figure. In “Kaleidozoo”, he is presenting a carousel of fantastic animals dressed in colours and patterns. Martin Robert Reed, born in Cardiff. His love for drawing and painting is evident, his gestural, expressionistic and experimental marks are intentional, deliberate and are designed to draw and immerse the viewer in his drawings and paintings. Domenico Pugliese an Italian photographer based in London. He is a traveller photographer focused mainly on social documentary, and on portraiture too.
