Rise to Remain: The metalcore scene in Britain is alive and kicking and 'Rise to Remain' is a perfect example of that.

These boys from London have been giving the metal heads in Britain a good time.

With a solid lineup 'Rise to Remain' is certainly bracing for good things to come in the future.

With front man Austin Dickinson, son of legendary vocalist Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, on the vocals these guys will surely give other bands a run for their money. Rise to Remain in their short career as a metalcore band have already made their presence felt at music festivals like the Sonisphere and Download festival.

Their debut album 'City of Vultures' was out in September 2011.

It got rave reviews in the metal circuit and quickly climbed onto the number 3 spot on the UK Rockcharts.

They are now gearing up for the album's release in North America and this will pave the way for their grand international success which they will taste very soon.

Telford-based electro-rock band You and What Army describe themselves as "having unforgivingly catchy trance synths that soar over tectonic-plate-shatteringly heavy guitar riffs, dancefloor-destroyingly awesome basslines and lowrider-cruisingly phat beats, with the narrated apocalypse rapped, sung and screamed wildly into the fray." That's one massive claim, so BritEvents' Lucy Middleton catches up with the four piece band to find out more about their epic sound.
