Skrillex: As far as emerging genres go in the new millenium dub-step is at the very head of the pack in terms of popularity, and among its premier artists is Skrillex.

Helped to fame in great part by Deadmau5, Skrillex is an artist who brings a great deal of dub-step remixes and influences to a number of different tracks, allowing pop music to see a much needed makeover in some cases.

This is an artist who prides himself on being able to deliver something different while still enabling listeners to dance and move along to the music.

Being able to gauge the talent of this artist is quite difficult by typical standards, but it can certainly be said that he is brave and willing to take the road less traveled.

Everything from underground rap to mainstream pop has been remixed by this artist, and he does so live on tour on a regular basis.
