The British Carp and Angling Show: The British Carp and Angling Show is coming to the Royal Norfolk Showground, Norwich 21st-22nd January 2012. Discover a mind-blowing 50,000 sq ft filled with fishing tackle, bait, equipment, apparel, accessories, demonstrations and freebies. The show offers everything, from well-known company's product launches, to angling celebrities and experts on hand with their tips and advice. Set in the Norfolk Showground's Exhibition Hall, this broad emporium will cater to the enthusiasms of not only Carp Anglers; but also coarse anglers, Fly and Sea fishermen.
For a brand new Angling Show, it sure has a big bite ' with huge manufacturer names Korda and Nash Tackle already confirmed, as well as key retailers and bait companies Eric's Angling, Carp Zone, Fishing Republic, Guru, Advanced Technology Tackle, I-Carp, Peg One and Bait Zone.
Fishing legends Keith Williams and Matt Hayes are also set to attend the show. Matt will be promoting his new clothing range, with both on hand giving tips and advice, as well as helping with all your angling queries for the duration of the weekend.
The show is not only a great opportunity to acquire new skills and mingle with anglers, with so many trades stands attending, the show is also a great chance to stock up on reduced rate essentials. Find everything you require for your next fishing trip - including baits ranging from boilies and liquids, to maggots and pellets. Placed in the delightfully rural setting of Norfolk, the Royal Norfolk Showground is a hub surrounded by lakes, rivers and an enormous coastline. The superb placement for the event engages the interest of local fishermen and anglers, with the show being reflective of their passions. Fishing is one of the most popular sports in the UK and engaged by an estimated 3.3 million people; the show is a fantastic opportunity to bring the enthusiasts together and celebrate the recreational sport of angling.
The organisers Aztec Events have been arranging shows for 15 years and attracted over 2 million visitors so are no fish out of water when it comes to pulling together big events. This show is set to follow in the footsteps of previous show's successes, and perhaps even surpass the already high expectations. Aztec Director Matt Upson said, 'We are very pleased with the support that we are receiving from some of the biggest names in the industry. Then when asked about future plans for the event, he went on to say, We plan to make the (British Carp & Angling) Show one of the highlights of the angling calendar and with companies like Korda, Nash and Guru on board (just to name a few) we are moving closer to that goal'.
