The Maccabees: After nearly eight years together, The Maccabees are still going strong.

This London based indie rock band has just released their third studio album named "Given to the wild" in January 2012 and it has garnered positive reviews from various media outlets.

The five members of The Maccabees have been on a roll lately as they finished the last 2 years as headlining acts of various rock shows including the prestigious Shockwave NME Awards Tour.

The group is often regarded as being one of the best post-britpop guitar bands and according to pundits in the industry, they might be the ones to save British Guitar music.

These are indeed big shoes to fill in, but for The Maccabees its all about evolution.

As time flies, they are getting wiser and so is their music.

With the upcoming live concerts by The Maccabees in 2012, fans will have the opportunity to see them perform and be mesmerized by their music.

2012 might be the biggest year yet in the band's history.
