Boughton House is gearing up two musical cinematic experiences this August during its alfresco summer season.
Up first is the smash hit comedy musical Pitch Perfect on Friday 11 August, followed by the Oscar-winning La La Land on Saturday 12 August.Taking place during the annual opening of the Estate’s House and Gardens in August, the screenings are joined by an open air theatre performance of The Wind in the Willows by Chapterhouse Theatre Company on Tuesday 15 August. The House is also hosting a special gardening exhibition “Vistas of Vast Extension”, open to House and Gardens ticket holders throughout August.
Closing out the season are screenings of the hugely popular live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast on Friday 8 September and feel-good favourite Mamma Mia on Saturday 9 September.

Tickets for the screenings are now available at www.lunaflix.co.uk from £13 for adults and £9 for children. Pitch Perfect begins at 9.10pm on Friday 11 August, La La Land begins at 9.10pm on Saturday 12 August, Beauty and the Beast begins at 8.15 on Friday 8 September and Mamma Mia begins at 8.10pm on Saturday 9 August.
Movie-goers are encouraged to bring a torch, garden chair, blanket, warm clothing and food and drink. No glass cups are allowed on site.
Boughton House and Gardens will open to the public throughout August. Guided House tours will begin at 1pm, with the last tour at 3.30pm daily.
A House tour and access to the Gardens, armoury and special exhibition starts from £10 per adult, £8 per child and £30 for families (two adults and two children). Children under five go free and must be accompanied at all times.
The Gardens will open between 12pm-5pm, with last entry at 4pm. Tickets cost £6 for adults, £3 for children and £14 for families (two adults and two children). As an added bonus, Gardens tickets holders will also gain access to the armoury and special exhibition.
