Wedding Open Day: Love will be in the air at Eastwood's D.H. Lawrence Heritage Centre this spring as prospective wedding couples descend on the historic site for a free wedding open day. Couples will be welcome to find out more about this charming Victorian building steeped in history with links to Eastwood's most famous son, the writer D.H. Lawrence, as the centre showcases its intimate and affordable wedding venue.
Wedding co-ordinators and a small and select group of local wedding suppliers will be on hand to help plan every detail of the special day. Appointments can be made to see representatives from the newly-opened Colliery Bistro to discuss an array of catering options top accommodate all tastes and budgets.
