White Post Modern Farm Centre
Awarded Visitor Attraction of the Year (over 100,000 visitors) in the East Midlands Tourism Excellence in England Awards 2005 White Post Farm Centre is a great day out for all of the family! Come along and make friends with over 3000 animals from the instantly recognisable to the more unusual including meerkats, reptiles, llamas and bats. There are always lots of animals to see including Jasper the wallaby and his new friend, a NEW baby calf, a baby llama and 7 baby Bearded Dragons! Plus have a great time on our Brand New Outdoor Play Area and Go-Kart track, and enjoy the NEW tube slide in the Beach Barn.
If you fancy staying indoors you can visit our Indoor Play Barn where children can have fun on our smaller Sledge Run, bouncy castle slide, sand and mini tractors.
Rafters Tea Room and Gardens is open (during peak times) for refreshments and caters to all tastes. Serving homemade Farmhouse recipes, ice cream and afternoon teas -the large attractive conservatory and the peaceful garden provide a relaxed setting for your meal.
We have regular reptile-holding sessions - look on our Notice-Boards for details. And now we have a Terrapin display and our latest arrival - a North American Pine Snake. Fully-grown, black and white, six feet long, and with a loud voice!
For those with a sense of adventure why not try the Outdoor Play Area where you can find forts, go-carts, trampolines, slides, and swings.
The White Post Farm Centre is open all year round to the public whatever the weather. . .
