Galleries of Justice
Travel with us through 3 centuries of crime and punishment reliving the lives, trials and executions of the most unfortunate inhabitants of the land.
Experience a real trial in the authentic Victorian courtroom before being sentenced and 'sent down' to the original cells and caves deep within this historic site.
Meet our warders who will 'welcome' you for your stay – but watch out for the hangman… Visited in 2003 by Yvette Fielding and the rest of Living TV`s `Most Haunted` team, a Ghosts & Ghouls evening at the Galleries of Justice is guaranteed to be the most interesting, unusual and scariest event you can experience.
Have your own Victorian adventure in this new family area at the NCCL Galleries of Justice.
In Narrow Marsh you can experience what life was like for some of the poorest children in Victorian Nottingham. Step into a world of dirt, disease and death - and see a different side to the Victorians. Become one of the children who lived and worked in Narrow Marsh - follow the clues to find out about your character and take part in activities and games!
All visits to Narrow Marsh must be booked in advance.
Narrow Marsh is open to families and groups on certain days and times during the weekends, Schools Holidays and Bank Holidays.
