Battle Abbey: Battle Abbey is one of 1066 Country's most popular attractions with the original gatehouse still intact and a host of exciting exhibits, including a brand new Visitor Centre and cafe. The Abbey is also home to an annual re-enactment where the Battle of Hastings is fought once again only this time in front of thousands of spectactors from around the world! You can even walk the original battlefield and stand on the very spot where King Harold was slain...

01 October to 31 March: 10am - 4pm

Closed: 24 - 26 December and 01 January

Please note: Last admission is 30 minutes before the stated time but the last audio tour is issued 60 minutes before closing time.

English Heritage Members: Free

Family Ticket: £16.80

Group Information:

15% discount for group parties of 11 or more - group leader goes free.

Free entrance for schools provided at least two weeks' notice is given.
