Run for the National Brain Appeal in the Brighton Half Marathon

Brighton Beach, Sunday, 19 February 2012

19 FEB

Run for the National Brain Appeal in the Brighton Half Marathon: Run for Us And the one in six people in the UK with neurological disorders!

The Brighton Half Marathon on 19 February is an ideal opportunity to burn off those unwanted Christmas pounds. It's now in its 22nd year and is one of the longest running and most popular sea front road races in the UK.

Ten million people in the UK suffer from a neurological disorder. This can be from birth, through a slowly developing illness or through brain injury.

The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising much-needed funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London.

We help raise money for the latest technology and equipment vital in this fast moving field. We also support research programmes and fund state of the art building projects and refurbishments. We have raised almost £40 million since 1984 when the charity first began.

Run for the National Brain Appeal in the Brighton Half Marathon at Brighton Beach in Brighton, Sussex on Sunday, 19 February 2012.
