2nd of Holly Stoppit's three Work in Progress shows at The Wardrobe Theatre, where Holly presents unfinished & improvised work
This one's about Vulnerability. As the precursor to meaningful connection. Vulnerability is a precious state that isn't always easy to inhabit when there are eyes watching you attempt to do something that you don't really know if you can do or not.
Holly won’t be getting naked (been there, done that!) but she will be designing performance experiments that will allow her to step into her vulnerability and report back on how it feels to be witnessed vulnerable, as well as exploring any blocks that appear in the moment.
Some of it may be funny, some of it may be moving, some of it may be informative, some of it may be rubbish, but all of it will be for you.
Holly Stoppit is a director, facilitator, university lecturer, dramatherapist and artistic director of Beyond The Ridiculous. Holly specialises in creating live, playful, interactive, improvised and devised performance.
Audience feedback from February's show:
“Hilarious, inspiring and heartwarming.”
“Brave and fragile and honest and funny and human.”
“Like having the contents of the human brain splattered all over us, in complete kindness and tenderness.”
Upcoming show dates:
Sunday 5th March
Sunday 2nd April
7.30pm
Pay what you decide.
