Petula Clark has been blessing the world with her heavenly voice for over seven decades! Born with a natural ability to sing since a young child Petula first began to gain fame singing on the radio to boost the morale of the brave troops fighting in World War 2. By 1944 Petula had become a movie star ultimately going on to play a major role in over thirty films winning her the often repeated title of "England's Shirley Temple." Very high praise indeed! Through the 1950's along with still singing, of course, Petula was one of England's first true television personalities hosting shows and never being far from the public's eye. This is all while recording, recording and recording some more. To date Petula has over a thousand songs to her credit. A true national treasure! Her story is far from over. Petula Clark is playing select shows in the U.K. and Europe in support of her critically acclaimed new album "Lost in You." No word if this is her swan song, but we sure hope there's much more to come!
