Winter Solstice Gong And Drum Sound Immersion in Oxford

A family event for The Big Draw Festival 2022!! Create your own masterpiece inspired by the historic setting of Westenhanger Castle!

Materials will be provided with artist Rose Hill will be leading the session, but you are also free to bring your own art materials and create your own independent masterpiece.

From sharp corners, curved edges and towering structures, shape is used throughout art. Geometric shapes, like squares and triangles, are mainly found in objects made by humans, while irregular shapes are more likely to come from nature.

Rose will lead you through Colour Theory looking at primary, secondary, tertiary colours and colour types and master essential drawing techniques to expand your creative thinking. By the end of the session, you'll have created a collection of Westenhanger Castle drawings; and gained skills to create your own unique artworks.
