Finlaystone Country Estate: Welcome to Finlaystone Country Estate, an established visitor attraction managed by the family of the Chief of the Clan MacMillan. The estate is located just ten minutes west of Glasgow Airport and is open all year round.

With its spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde, Finlaystone offers colourful gardens, imaginative woodland play areas and tumbling waterfalls. The estate combines history with adventure in a fun day out for the family, where your dog can run freely. Step back in time and uncover its secrets.

Stroll through the gardens?

pausing to appreciate the special plants and Finlaystone's renowned beauty. Don't miss the 'smelly' garden or the intricate Celtic paving. Enjoy the sweeping lawns and sculptured hedges, and relax in the walled garden. The main design was laid out in 1900.

Admission is by paid entry for non-members:

Concession £ 2.50

Children £ 2.50

Adults £ 4.00

This allows you access for the whole day.

The country estate is open all year round 10am to 5pm. The Eye Opener Centre is open April to September 11am to 5pm (hot beverages available October to March in the Eye Opener Vistor Centre at the weekends)
