Shropshire Truck Show: Oswestry Showground is once again hosting the annual Shropshire Truck Show. Last year, visitors numbered in excess of 15,000 with over 400 trucks. This year's show promises to be even better with a Monster Truck Showdown between Swamp Thing and Crusher, a Crash Rescue demonstration, James Dylan's motorbike stunt show and literally tons of trucks.
Mums will be delighted to hear that TV's Will Mellor is booked to come to the show on Sunday to meet folks and sign autographs. You may have seen Will in 2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps or as Jambo Bolton in Hollyoaks.
Kids will have a brilliant time with a full schedule of events in the action arena and a fun fair. Dad will also enjoy seeing the hundreds of trucks on show then relaxing in the licensed bar with a pint!
Jason Lunn of Independent Event Management Ltd said Shropshire Truck Show is my favourite show of the year ' it's really has got something for everyone, from the kids, Mums, Dads and Grandparents. We've been working hard to make this year's show the best ever and have again kept car parking free.
