An interactive workshop designed to introduce young children to the wonders of stories.
Join our group for the youngest members of the family. Take part in an interactive morning of storytelling, music, dance and craft in our fantastic arts centre The Edge. Each month will be inspired by a different and much-loved story, with the themes brought to life using music, drama, craft and movement. Based in the Ensemble Room we’ll also visit the fantastic gallery spaces to discover the exhibitions and take inspiration from their themes. 28th January – we’ll set sailing with a session inspired by the award-winning “Lost and Found” by Oliver Jeffers No February Session 18th March – we’ll be hitching a lift with “The Snail and the Whale” by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler 29th April – we’ll be munching along with “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle For very little people aged 3-4 and their grown ups. SESSION ONE: 10.30AM – 11.15AM SESSION TWO: 11.30AM – 12.15PM Both sessions will feature the same story and have a maximum capacity of 12 children.
