Sculpture In The Garden: Breathtaking Summer Sculpture
From Saturday 1st August, Barley Wood Walled Gardens near Bristol Airport are hosting a month long sculpture trail exhibiting work from six leading artists in their beautiful restored Victorian kitchen gardens.
Leading through giant herbaceous borders and vegetable gardens, the trail reveals bronze figures, wrought iron and steel sculptures and luminous glasswork framed against the spectacular backdrop of the Mendips.
Visitors can also relax at the beautiful garden cafe, visit the resident artist studios and have fun at the new summer Maize Maze. Entrance and parking is free just off the A38, less than ten minutes from Bristol airport. Visit www.walledgarden.co.uk or contact 01934 863713 for more information.
