‘Show not tell’ remains among the most popular and often-repeated writing advice out there – but what does it really mean, and how can we employ it in our stories? This workshop will explore how to avoid this common pitfall with examples and exercises, as well as a look at the connected area of ‘info dumping’.
Led by Alex Davis, Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Derby and an author and workshopper with fifteen years of experience.
