Yoga and Meditation: Do you feel that you need to relax and have some time to yourself away from the kids and work?

Book a course of Yoga and Meditation and join our group. We meet every Tuesday and through the school holidays to enjoy an hour and a half of stretching and relaxation. We've also been know to have a good laugh.
The lessons are prepared by Michele 'Yoga Doctor' Dornan and with 30 years experience of yoga you will find something to suit you.
You begin by taking a few moments to draw your senses inwards and leave your regular live outside the door, which enables you to concentrate on your mind and body withouf feeling any guilt, making the best use of your time.
The main part of the lesson concentrates on the postures of Yoga, using three different styles, Hatha, Sivinanda and Ashtanga the combination of these styles provides a smooth, flowing sequence of postures that allows your body to stretch and build strength. You also examine how to build ' Core Stability' which is crucial for lower back strength, by working on Yoga body locks knows as Bandhas. You close the lesson with relaxation or meditation. this will enable your body to refresh itself and your mind to become peaceful and tranquil leading to a relaxed and deep sleep.
Mats are provided free of charge for the first six weeks. Yoga equipment and meditation and relaxation cds are available to buy at the end of the class.
