Electro80s

Norton Central Wmc, Sunday, 08 April 2012

8 APR

Electro80s: The Eighties were a time of radical changes in both music and fashion. In the aftermath of the punk revolution, daring New Romantics embraced developing sounds and technologies to transform the music industry forever. Gary Numan, The Human League, Kraftwerk & Depeche Mode all helped to create a totally new genre of music; Electronica or Synth-pop, a futuristic new sound that almost seemed like science fiction at the time.

Electro 80's pay tribute to this era, and have lovingly recreated songs by the afore mentioned pioneers (and many more), to create a live entertainment show that is sure to transport everyone from this generation, back to the days of underground club scenes and even school discos. Unforgettable classics like Fade to Grey and Just Can't Get Enough are performed alongside lesser-known tracks, which will jog your memory in a nostalgic show that is both visually and acoustically stunning.

Playing covers by Gary Numan, The Human League, Kraftwerk & Depeche Mode,Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, A Ha etc...

Electro80s at Norton Central Wmc in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire on Sunday, 08 April 2012.
