Weston House and Park

Weston Park, Weston under Lizard, Staffordshire, TF118LE

Weston House and Park: The stunning buildings boast as much character as any English castle and the history contains as many stories as any royal home; Weston is surely the most welcoming of all stately homes. One visit is all it takes to fall head over heels in love with Weston Park. It is a more engaging experience than any other stately home or castle. It's a love affair that captures everyone.

A home rich in history and beautiful treasures. Designed and built in 1671 by Lady Elizabeth Wilbraham, the much-admired house offers a uniquely intimate environment in which to enjoy the magnificent collection of fine art, tapestries, porcelain and objet dart that has taken over 300 years to draw together.

The grounds of Weston Park combine 1,000 acres of natural beauty with three centuries of garden design. From the formal lines and long avenues of the 17th century gardens to the unique style added by 'Capability' Brown in the 18th century, you'll find so many points of genuine gardening interest.

Whether you are looking for a relaxed break or packed day out with the kids, Weston Park offers something special that will appeal to the widest range of tastes and age groups. There's the miniature railway, woodland adventure playground and courtyard games for a start. And what kid in the world would not have the time of their life playing in the wide open spaces and safe parklands that Weston has in abundance?
