Suffolk Wildlife Park: It was the vision of Park Director Martin Goymour, when Banham Zoo acquired Suffolk Wildlife Park some 13 years ago, to create an African themed Park. The plans included the creation of a breathtaking centre-piece that would become the very heart of Suffolk Wildlife Park, where the sights and sounds of natures magnificent creatures would come together to stimulate and engage the visitors, bringing Africa Alive!

Our tranquil parkland, with its enigmatic marshland backdrop, warmly embraces the fantastic sights and awesome sounds of African wildlife, providing an ideal habitat for the wide variety of species whose origins are of the far distant African continent. Not many are fortunate enough to be able to travel to the far corners of the Earth to experience and enjoy the few remaining truly wild places and the animals that reside there. Suffolk Wildlife Park provides you with an opportunity of experiencing for yourself at close proximity the animals found naturally in the dark continent of Africa.
