Surrey Art Fair: The Surrey Art Fair will be held on 25th September 2010, 10am to 5pm
It will be taking place at the Godalming Borough Hall, Surrey. Admission to the event is free.
There will be an art and craft fair which will host a variety of local craftsmen and artisans who will be selling their handmade works.
Alongside the art and craft fair there will be a small exhibition. The exhibition will consist of the works produced in a beginners drawing workshop. A total of 3 workshops will be held for people who would like to learn some portraiture techniques. The workshops will be held by Jo Quigley a local artist. The sessions will be charged at 2.50 - there are still places available!
The works produced from these sessions will be exhibited in the Borough Hall. Visitors will be able to view these works and vote on their favourite drawing. The beginner artist with the most votes will be awarded an art themed hamper as a prize.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day from the Borough Hall canteen where visitors will be able to sit with a drink and a snack.
