Verdi's Macbeth Theatre & Performing Arts

Verdi's thrilling music lends dramatic intensity to the dark tale of Macbeth and his murderous wife.

Placing the witches at the core of the drama makes for wild and exciting choruses set against the chilling arias of psychological disintegration as Macbeth and his Lady are forced to confront their ghosts and their “ugly secrets”.
Guildford Opera’s contemporary setting is fully staged, with orchestra and sung in English.
For those who want to find out more about the music and staging, the directors, Lewis Gaston and Stephen Oliver will give a pre-performance talk in the theatre at 6.30pm on Friday 10 November. Tickets £21 Wed, with 50% reduction for children and students and £23 on Friday and Saturday. Please note, the Saturday performance starts at 6.30pm
