Local boy, Maff is a comedy circuit regular performing regularly at the Comedy Store, the Glees, Komedia, Off the Kerb’s and his own comedy club ‘Outside the Box’. His TV and writing credits include Mock the Week, Vic and Bob’s Shooting Stars, Dave Gorman’s Genius, Vic and Bob’s House of Fools, Comedy Central at the Comedy Store and even Loose Women!

Opening the show will be the brilliant Owen O’Neill. Owen is an award winning stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He made his stand-up TV debut in 1985 on Saturday Live and has since performed all over the World. He has guested twice on Late night with Conan O’Brien. He is an annual visitor to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he has produced, directed and starred in eight one man-shows, winning a string of awards including two Fringe Firsts, the Edinburgh critics award for best comedy a Perrier nomination and the LWT award for best original one-man play.

Steve Best is arguably one of the best visual comics, harnessing a mind-boggling array of gadgets and gags to keep his audience in stitches. Funny, frenetic and mad, his unique form of slapstick comedy is backed up with astounding talent; he plays the guitar like a genius, is wonderful at magic, and fluent in Serbo-Croatian.
Steve blasted onto the comedy scene some years ago and is now a regular on the nationwide comedy circuit. Steve is also author of Joker Face, a hilarious combination of unknown facts about some of Britain’s best-loved comedians with their favourite one-liners and candid, black-and-white portraits.

MC for the night is the award winning Laura Lexx. Actress, comedian, writer and Amused Moose Comedy Award finalist Laura has performed her critically-acclaimed solo show, Tyrannosaurus Lexx, at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe. Laura’s credits include Sam Delaney’s News Thing (RT UK), How Hacks Work (Viasat Explore), The Comedy Club (BBC Radio 4 Extra) and The Jason Manford Show (Absolute Radio) .
Laura was nominated for Best Compere at the 2016 and 2017 Chortle Comedy Awards and has recently won the Comedian’s Comedian award for Best MC of 2017. She also reached the finals of the Paramount Student Comedy Award, Chortle Student Comedy Award and Funny Women competitions. Laura has gigged at comedy clubs and festivals all over the UK and in Europe.
