Amberley Museum Tour: Amberley Working Museum is a place where families can enjoy the fantastic experience of the old history. This museum not only reveals some tremendous displays but it gets everyone involved with certain activities. These include pottery, printing the old fashioned way, horses and ponies rides, carving walking sticks, running a steam train, driving an old bus, and using a television from the 1960s.
All of these activities are fun and enjoyable for all of the family of every age. This makes the museum a great place to go to have memorable and lovely times on the weekends. The tickets are very cheap- chidren are free and the adults are a cheap price of £2.50. Also a family ticket is under £10.00. We understand that at this current time there is a recession and many museums and visiting places is extremely expensive. We think our prices are very reasonable and generous as you get to do many activities inside the museum for free. Accep the pottery as it is £5.00 a go.
The main attractions are above, plus, there are two gist shops and a train or open top bus that takes you to each stop and picks you up so there isnt much walking for a huge museum. The museum is of 5 acres of land including roofed buildings and fields for fun. There are picnic sites are you can borrow chairs and blankets for 99p. Also there are two really posh hotels that provide the most quality of food for customers. For the girls we have sweet stools, bags shoes and cake stools, as well as smooties and jewellery stalls. For the boys we have cowboys, trains, vehicles and fairground rides.
For the men we have old fashioned things of all types and things that they may have used when they were little. A small section of the field is fair rides including stimulators, big wheels, little chair swings for toddlers, and a small rollercoaster. So not only is there things for the whole family in the museum but there is also a separate fairground and horse racing track. One final attraction is biking and ramping.
There is a ring on the field were brave people do wheelies and ramping to entertain the crowd. There are rows of early dated cars like MGS, Midgets, Sunbeams, and other cars. Free things that are gives out to people include sweets, chocolate bars, teddies, T-shirts, lollipops, CDs and ciggarette free mouthwash to help give up the habbit (amongst the stools!).
