Visionary art gallery in the heart of Brighton, popping up in May as part of Brighton Fringe. The gallery will host a programme of workshops
9 - 15 MAY 2017 HOUSE OF ALCHEMY VISIONARY ART EXHIBITION AND EVENTSAs part of Brighton Fringe 2017, House of Alchemy will be taking over pop-up venue, No Walls Gallery, situated in the heart of Brighton, opposite the iconic Brighton Dome.
The gallery will be premiering the work of over 20 international Visionary Artists and will host a programme of workshops, events and free talks.
The gallery will exhibit original work for sale from international Visionary Artists including: Amanda Sage, Adam Scott Miller, Daniel Miranti, Emma Watkinson, Kuba Ambrose, Vera Atlantia and Kevin Campeau. As well as hosting Artist-in-Residence Florence Menard, who runs the Visionary Art Academy in Vienna. Prints and merchandise will also be on sale for the week.
The gallery will host a two-day Visionary Art workshop, life-drawing classes and morning yoga. There will be a free talk on Friday 12 May, 3pm by Florence Menard on the emerging phenomenon of a global Visionary Art movement and it’s first Academy. Host of the Explorers Club, Sarah Janes, will give a talk on the illustrious ranks of Greek Goddesses and the power of memory, plus provide opportunity to experience an EEG machine.
House of Alchemy will have an open launch event at the gallery, Tuesday 9 May 7.30pm-9.30pm, with guest DJ OMNEBULA.
