MEGAN LARA MAE is a 20 year old melodic pop singer-songwriter from Solihull. She has been writing her own music since the age of 12 and been performing since the age of 15, including showcases in and around the Midlands and also in London and is now venturing onto the UK festival stage. Megan was classically trained in voice and piano and performed in a number of musicals and as a member of leading choirs, before discovering her love of song writing. Megan accompanies herself at live performances on piano. Having been described by leading musical professionals as the new Carole King, Megan’s influences are broad and include indie pop artists, such as Foxes and BANKS and also some indie folk artists, such as Gabrielle Aplin.
