Going 1-8pm and possibly beyond, DJ’s HP Sorcery, D McNamee, Matthew Balaam and Secret Son will be your inter-dimensional tour guides through a blissed-out journey of hazey disco, transcendental new age, a lighter shade of Italo, waves of Balearic & sun-drenched kosmische, and all brought to you from Brighton seafront.
Standard Planets have spent the last couple of years collaborating and releasing records with avant disco legends Arthur’s Landing (Arthur Russell, Dinosaur L/Loose Joints), Ash Ra Tempel’s Harald Grosskopf (Manuel Gottsching, Klaus Schulze, Cosmic Jokers), italo titans BWH/Blackway (House Of Music) and writer Iain Sinclair (Penguin), having gained a ton of press from the likes of The Guardian, Q Magazine, FACT, The Quietus and Red Bull Music Academy for each release.
20jazzfunkgreats main-man, NTS Radio presenter and collaborator and Blue Tapes & X-Ray Records founder D. McNamee has recently released records by the likes of Mats Gustaffson and Katie Gately, to name a few, and is currently working on a multimedia history charting the first 100 years of dance records in collaboration with Nesta and NTS Radio. David will be bringing records from across his time at Blue Tapes, 20jfg and NTS Radio to Riviera Breeze.
