Ten million people in the UK suffer from a neurological disorder. This can be from birth, through a slowly developing illness or through brain injury.
The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising much-needed funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London.
We help raise money for the latest technology and equipment vital in this fast moving field. We also support research programmes and fund state of the art building projects and refurbishments. We have raised almost £40 million since 1984 when the charity first began.
The National Brain Appeal is proud to have fully funded the Molly Lane Fox Unit- The UK's first dedicated brain tumour unit at The National which opened in March 2011.
