Rye Castle Museum: Rye Castle Museum is the local history museum for Rye. It displays objects from Ryes long history and also introduces you to Ryes illustrious past. It helps you understand why Rye was once one of Britains leading ports and also why that changed from the sixteenth century onwards.

1st April to 31st October

Monday, Thursday and Friday

Ypres Tower 10:30am - 1pm / 2pm - 5pm

East Street 2pm - 5pm

Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am - 1pm / 2pm - 5pm (both buildings)

Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays
