Yes it's the return of the 'Terrible Trio' to The John Selden for a spring show! British blues legend Chris Farlowe joins veteran of Woodstock Miller Anderson and Sussex Desperate Dan Band frontman Bob Brookes for an evening of Blues Rnb and Gospel in an intimate 100 seater venue( So get your tickets quick) those of you who know of Chris Farlowe will remember ‘Out of Time’ & ‘Handbags and Gladrags’Chris Farlowe moved to Andrew Loog Oldham’s Immediate label and recorded eleven singles, five of which were cover versions of Rolling Stones songs including “Paint It, Black”, “Think”, “Ride On, Baby”, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, and “Out of Time”, which reached no. 1 (1966) in the UK Singles Chart.[1] He recorded four more singles, the best known of which is Mike d’Abo’s “Handbags and Gladrags”.[2] and “My Way Of Giving”, a cover of a Small Faces album track written by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane.
Miller Anderson Apart from pursuing his own solo career, he was a member of the Keef Hartley Band. Other groups Anderson has been associated with are; the Spencer Davis Group, Broken Glass, The Dukes, Mountain, Savoy Brown, T.Rex and Chicken Shack.[1] In early 2006, he joined The British Blues Quintet with Maggie Bell, Zoot Money, Colin Hodgkinson and Colin Allen.
In the Spring of 2016 Miller returned to the studio and in July 2016 released a new album of 12 original tracks ” Through The Mill ” Bob Brookes Along with The Desperate Dan Band Bob has worked with and supported some of the most credible names in the business, either collectively or individually – people like Paul McCartney, Jools Holland, Elton John, Leo Sayer to name but a few – having had in the line-up at one time or another such people as Dave Mattacks (Fairport, Mary Chapin-Carpenter),
