Pier to Peer Charity Walk Sports

Walk/run or cycle in this inclusive, seaside event to raise vital funds for WayfinderWoman to continue helping women in our community.

The event is a 16 mile walk/run/cycle from Eastbourne to Hastings Piers, with an additional 3 mile (5K) accessible route provided from Eastbourne pier to Sovereign Harbour, in order to open the challenge to all abilities (groups with children/buggies/dogs etc, and wheelchair or mobility scooter users). The short route is all along the prom and fully accessible.

There is also the opportunity for regular route participants to stop at Pevensey Bay or Cooden Beach. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Bring a friend, family etc, and meet new people and have a chat along the way. We encourage groups to join and want to make it a fun, inclusive event!

Pier 2 Peer is not a race and participants are encouraged to walk, run, or cycle at their own pace. An early start on 5th August will help those walking and running to catch the low tide where it is needed along the shoreline to avoid the pebbles when not on the promenade. Anyone participating will receive our environmentally friendly medal, regardless of which route you choose to participate in!

The sign up fee is a £10 donation, which will help to provide the resources for the event to run. We also ask you to raise at least £25 in sponsorship which will go directly to helping to keep our drop-in centre open.
