Birmingham Jewellery Quarter Centre: Take this opportunity to discover the skill of the jeweller's craft and enjoy a unique tour of an original jewellery factory, frozen in time. Using the most up to date techniques of video and display, guides and jewellers take you through the astonishing story of the 200 year old Jewellery Quarter and the ancient craft skills still practised in the workshop that make this area the centre of the British jewellery industry.
In our well stocked shop we offer you an excellent selection of contemporary jewellery made by some of Birmingham's most exciting new designers as well as a wide range of books and souvenirs of your visit. Here you can make use of our refreshment area, and we also provide an information service about the Quarter. Taped guided tours are available in French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and Hindi. Visitors with disabilities have full access to all parts of the building. .
