Developing Board Performance Miscellaneous

Developing Board Performance is a three-day interactive course where you will act as a board member and tackle a real-life board scenario. You will challenge and use skills gained from your experience as a director in an applied and dynamic way, as a board facing a variety of challenges and crises.

Aimed at directors holding the Institute of Director's Certificate in Company Direction, the course is designed so that it encourages peer group support, challenge and stimulation, mirroring the real-world operation of a board. It helps you to discover new ways to increase your confidence and board effectiveness whilst overcoming challenges in a realistic and safe environment.

Developing Board Performance builds on the Certificate in Company Direction by:

- Replicating the issues experienced by a 'real' organisation – diagnosing and overcoming the challenges regularly faced by the board.
- Giving you an opportunity to receive feedback on your own impact and performance as the board reviews and appraises its own impact and effectiveness.
- Making you apply your knowledge in constantly changing situations that evolve during the course.

Upon completion of the programme you will be able to successfully tackle the examination and raise your professional profile by taking the Diploma in Company Direction.
